My timing is quite bad, right? When I say that I'm going to post this outfit some other day the past few weeks, I didn't. I'm sorry. No excuses. It isn't my proudest moment.
But, here I am, after such a long time.
Hope you still support me though, 'cause I'm not going to stop blogging anytime soon. Having this style blog means a lot to me. It symbolizes my everyday choice to just go for it. No more "what-ifs". I'm tired of always standing in my way.
Are you? Do you also fight the same battle?
For this outfit, I've decided to go for the casual route yet again, pairing my ever trusted ripped shorts with a midi long sleeves statement shirt to complement the hot weather. Since I'd be going to the mall and we would be doing a lot of walking, I decided to wear my 2-inches heels that I've bought a long time ago in Zhuhai, China. I'm grateful that it's not broken yet because I still love this pair.
To complete the outfit, and because I needed more black, I accessorized using this thick black belt and a beanie. What I do, I make sure that my ensemble always has the same element in it to harmonize the entirety of the outfit, whether it be in color, texture, print, etc. This time around, it is the element of black --- so, there's the shoes, the beanie and the bag.
Overcoming the fight that one constantly has with him/ her self everyday is a remarkable thing. We are far smarter to be the only one standing in our way... So if this means getting up in the morning, taking a deep breath, and deciding to have faith in the unknown and what lies ahead, then let's do it.
Let's be brave enough to set ourselves free from the prison that we built from our own imperfections. Our negativities... Let's choose us.
