Met Gala 2014

Aside from Coachella, The Oscars, and Fashion weeks held in the different key fashion cities of the world, I have always been fond of the annual Met Gala. This fund-raising event serves as an opening celebration for the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art where a lot of personalities such as actors and actresses, singers, models, designers, and so on participate.

Since I've always been in the look out for my own Best Dressed list, I thought that I would share my picks for this year's Met Gala to you.

Here are my A-Listers.

Rihanna
Dressed in Stella McCartney

What I love about this outfit is its minimalist style. It's purely white with a cut that really accentuated the sexy figure of Rihanna. The deal breaker of this outfit for me is the diamond choker which highlights the elegance of the entire ensemble.

Emma Stone
Dressed in Thakoon

The color combination of this attire attracts me instantly as it is very feminine. If this was created in other colors, the ensemble will be boring and dull as the variations of pink definitely give life to the outfit. Plus the thigh-high slit is genius.

Kim Kardashian
Dressed in Lanvin

Two things that I love about this dress is that it is made of silk and the texture is very pronounced. This outfit is very Lanvin.

Kendall Jenner
Dressed in Topshop

Aside from having a body-hugging style for the 3/4 of the gown, I love its color as well. Nude colors are really sexy, 'nough said.

Dakota Johnson
Dressed in Jason Wu

If I were to attend this year's Met Gala, then I will definitely wear this Jason Wu gown. It's my favorite from the bunch as this is very simple, sexy and chic. Not to mention, the long gloves exponentially add to the classy feel of the entire ensemble. Definitely, my style!

Beyonce Knowles
Dressed in Givenchy

The bead work, the details, the transparency, the silhouette, the uniqueness of the gown, I can go on and on about the things that I love about this attire.

Kristen Stewart
Dressed in Chanel

What captivated me to this outfit is the dynamics and culmination of the different patterns, textures, and accents found in this dress alone. Bravo, Chanel!

Shailene Woodley
Dressed in Rodarte

A lot of people online already mentioned that they hated this attire, but I beg to differ. This outfit is very diverse in such a way that it is still very pleasing in the eyes. I love all the patterns that Rodarte used to create this one of a kind dress.

Leighton Meester
Dressed in Pucci

This is also one of my favorites as this gown is very elegant, classy, sexy, and chic. I feel that when you wear this outfit, you will feel like a million bucks. Plus, this is Leighton Meester we are talking about... hi Blaire!

Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka

Such an adorable and fashionable couple! Though I'm not that flexible when it comes to menswear, this definitely catches my eye. The edginess and the fierceness of the entire ensemble are forces to be reckoned with. The cut and the lines of these outfits are very different than what we are currently seeing in these formal occasions. Its difference adds to the overall appeal of this couple. J'adore!
